Overview


Neverson Heatley, III has a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida where he was a Barbara L. Jackson scholar. He also holds a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Intellectual Property from SUNY University at Buffalo School of Law. He has served as an Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for Florida A&M University College of Law and is an Education Pioneer Fellow. Neverson’s areas of practice and research include higher education administration and minority access to higher education.

In his personal life, Neverson is a published poet and performing artist.  He started rapping through opportunities at local talent shows and has peformed in Yankee Stadium in front of 30,000 people.  He is still writing music, currently working on projects to fuse ethnic folk music with rap.  He is also an accomplished photographer with a focus on capturing everyday life and portraiture.  His favorite sports are baseball, basketball, and football but he is a supporter of the New York City Football Club (soccer) and Helsingin Jokerit Hockey Team.  He has learned four langauges, two of which he speaks daily and his favorite pastimes and ice skating and train travel.
